JTI among the best employers in Serbia
For the ninth consecutive year, JTI has been recognized as the Top Employer, while simultaneously being ranked as the second-best employer in Serbia in areas crucial for the certification awarded by the institute of the same name.
Some of the distinguishing features of JTI compared to other employers in the country include employee development and opportunities for learning and advancement, employee well-being, continuous listening to their demands for improving the work environment and attracting quality talent in an increasingly demanding job market.
Throughout the past year, numerous colleagues have completed training both domestically and internationally, including mentorship and MBA programs for the most talented employees identified as leaders within the company. At the same time, one-fifth of the employees have changed their positions within departments, to other departments, and within the company globally. In addition to competitive salaries, JTI offers regular bonuses, service awards, private health insurance for employees and their immediate family members, as well as paid paternity leave for 20 weeks upon the birth of a child. Employees can allocate their time to work half remotely from home and half from the office, in a modern work environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and systems. Throughout the year, they can work remotely from abroad for up to 10 working days.
“The Top Employer recognition confirms that our people are at the heart of everything we do. I am particularly pleased that we have made progress in improving the work environment and that we stand out in caring for the well-being of our employees. Moreover, being recognized as the best employer for nine consecutive years speaks to our future employees that we are an exceptional place to work,” said Zoran Kosijer, Director of the Human Resources and Corporate Culture Department at JTI for the Western Balkans.
