Results of AmCham’s work presented and new Board members elected
At the General Assembly, members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) elected two new members to the Board of Directors. Following the voting, Ana Drašković from VISA was elected as the Second Vice President, while Igor Lončarević from KPMG was re-elected as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board.
Amalija Pavić, Deputy Director of AmCham, presented the annual report, highlighting that the past year concluded with a record number of members since the organization’s founding. AmCham Serbia entered 2025 with 270 international and domestic companies, whose combined turnover exceeds 21 billion euros and which employ more than 119,000 people in Serbia.
“We entered 2025 with the highest number of members to date, confirming the significance and influence of the AmCham community and increasing our responsibility to continue our work. We will maintain our focus on priorities that I believe can accelerate economic development, modernize the economy, and make it more resilient to crises, with a special focus on digital transformation in public administration, judiciary, healthcare, commerce, and the labor market. Additionally, we will intensify efforts to implement ESG principles, particularly in environmental protection and energy transition, while also strengthening economic relations between Serbia and the United States. We believe that cooperation with the new U.S. administration will benefit the economy and all our members, while AmCham will continue to be their voice and support in the reform processes that contribute to an improved business environment,” stated Stefan Lazarević, President of AmCham.
“For the successful implementation of reform processes, preservation of the achieved positive economic results, and systematic improvement of the business environment, we expect the focus in the coming period to be on the rule of law, continuation of EU integration, greater transparency, and strengthening institutional capacities to respond to all challenges ahead effectively,” added Lazarević.
