A1 Serbia wins SAM award for “Campaign of national significance”
“The Network of the Most Important Influencers” campaign is recognized as an example of social responsibility and support for education
A1 Serbia has been honoured with the special “Campaign of National Significance” award by the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) for its “The Network of the Most Important Influencers” campaign, dedicated to educators. The award was presented at a ceremony held in the Sava Center in Belgrade to Judit Albers, General Manager of A1 Serbia, and Zoran Ilić, a teacher from Leskovac who participated in the campaign as one of its ambassadors.
Launched at the start of the school year, the campaign was designed to recognize teachers as true influencers who shape future generations daily despite numerous challenges. As part of the initiative, A1 Serbia offered teachers unlimited internet for a year with any postpaid tariff, empowering them to maximize digital tools in their work.
“This award belongs to all educators across Serbia. They are the architects of our future, and it is our privilege to support them. At A1 Serbia, our commitment to education doesn’t stop here. We have launched #BoljiOnline, a platform for safer and more positive online experiences. It equips individuals, families, and educators with the tools and knowledge to navigate the digital space responsibly and reap its benefits. We believe this platform can be a long-term solution for addressing online challenges,” said Judit Albers, General Manager of A1 Serbia.
A standout feature of the campaign was the release of “The Most Important Book About the Most Important Influencers”—a unique collection of 36 heartfelt stories inspired by teachers whose dedication left an indelible mark on the lives of their former students from across Serbia. The digital version of the book is available for download on A1 Serbia’s official website, making it accessible to all interested readers.
Zoran Ilić, a teacher featured in the campaign, expressed his gratitude on behalf of educators:
“I’m used to standing in front of a full classroom and understanding my importance to my students. But being recognized among the leaders of Serbian companies as a person of influence is a completely new experience. This wouldn’t have been possible without the professionals at A1 who unconditionally supported educators, honoured us, and restored pride in our profession.”
The Serbian Association of Managers, now in its 13th year of awarding the “SAM Annual Awards”, recognizes managers, employers, and socially responsible companies whose contributions to society go beyond business success. This year’s event, held under the slogan “Creating Unbreakable Bonds,” brought together nearly 400 guests from the business, cultural, and media sectors of Serbia and the region.
In its 18th year of existence, SAM presented six prestigious awards aimed at promoting excellence, responsibility, and best business practices across various areas of social and professional life.
